Leaders’ Summit 2025
In June 2025, leaders converged in Masaka for the Leaders’ Summit themed Leading with HeART. Hosted at Camp Ndegeya by artist Collin Sekajjugo, the gathering blended dialogue, art, and community. Participants walked through mural-lined streets in Ndegeya and gathered for fireside reflections under the stars, exploring leadership rooted in empathy, creativity, and accountability.

In June 2025, under the warm sunlight of Masaka, our CEO Jacqueline Asiimwe sat with Mr. Francis Kamulegeya, a leader whose quiet work speaks louder than any title. Before the interview, he walked her through the initiatives he is nurturing, the Masaka School for the Deaf, founded 20 years ago, and the newly opened Masaka Vocational Training Institute equipping youth with skills. Though travel kept him from joining the “Conversation Around the Campfire” at the Leaders’ Summit 2025, he shared his voice in an interview that aired during the Summit. Their conversation centered on Leading with HeART, rooting leadership in identity, choosing it moment by moment, and leading with heart by listening, empathizing, lifting others, and honoring values over valuables.
